After the 1.28 patch the game's default resolution was changed and you might see something like this:

Solution

Fixed aspect ratio box

Selecting resolution

1) Launch the game and go to Options -> Video

2) Untick the "Fixed Aspect Ratio" checkbox

3) Select the desired resolution from the resolution list

4) Click on the "OK" button
