What is StealthBot

StealthBot is one of the most popular moderation bots on the official servers. It completely emulates the Battle.Net Chat Server connection, meaning; A server will clearly think you're an official client.

It's written in Visual Basic v6, meaning it's for Windows only (Bypass is possible.) It's possible to extend StealthBot with Visual Basic Script-scripts to get advanced option and a broad enterprise of extra features.

Where to download?

You can download the release version here. (Develops version)

The other steps.
After installing make sure you do not start StealthBot.
Preparing StealthBot for PvPGN connection
Go to the StealthBot root folder
Open Default/scripts
Download this file (Right click -> Save source to your StealthBot/Default/scripts directory.)
Now you're able to connect to Eurobattle.net!
Advanced users (That's what they state)
Go to the StealthBot root folder
Create a folder called: WAR3
Go to the Warcraft root folder
Copy: war3.exe / Storm.dll / game.dll to the Stealthbot/WAR3 folder
Go to StealthBot/Default and create a file called: Config.ini
Open it and place the Spoiler-text in it and save it. (Note; Folder can need special access. Create it on your desktop then copy to your StealthBot/Default folder if it doesn't work.)
Difference between preparing and advanced; Using the first method makes the login sequence slower. It's not a must-do, though.

NOTES
You MUST do Preparing BEFORE Advanced.
The support crew of StealthBot does NOT support PvPGN servers. ~ I do support it. (Channel: W3-HELP / Forum: PM / Forum: Replies.)
The pre-made config.ini is an edited original. Changes:
Set login method to Advanced
Set CD Keys

I wish you good luck with StealthBot.

EDIT 5-Sep-11: Dragonlord noticed the dead PvPGN.txt link. Uploaded it to my own server.

1) Install StealthBot.
2) Download this.
3) Extract it in the StealthBot folder.
4) Done - You only have to create a profile and set it up.

This will guide you to how to set up a static internal IP!

Before you start you need to grab some useful information for later use:
Step 1. Press Start, click Run....

A small window will pop up. Type cmd on it and press enter. A black window will show, then type ipconfig /all and type enter. You may get various data. You must define which one is your real internet connection. On the image below you will see an example:

Take note about the IP Address, Default Gateway and Subnet Mask values, you will need them later.
-------------------------------
Now, the beggining:
Step 2. Double click your connection on the system tray then click on Properties.

Step 3. Select TCP/IP Protocol and then Properties.

Step 4. Now, mark Use the following IP address and Use the following DNS server addresses. Recover the values you got on the Step 1, fill the fields with the information. For DNS, type in the Default Gateway

Observation: in case the Default Gateway does not work as your DNS server (unresponsive internet), you will need to enter your router interface (by typing the Default Gateway into your browser; user and pass admin or blank) and find your DNS information under DHCP settings.

Now you're done setting up a static internal IP! You can now forward your ports to it and be free of problems.
Tutorial:Static Internal IP Router

127.0.0.1:

A -VERY- important part of setting up a Static IP address on your computer is CHOOSING an appropriate number to assign to the computer as its permanent, “static” IP address.

There’s more to it than just picking any old number at random, and the number your computer has been using up until now may NOT be an appropriate choice.

This is because some routers may have trouble forwarding ports to IP addresses which conflict with their DHCP server address range. That is, if the IP address on the computer is the same as one which the DHCP server might assign, the Port Forwarding may FAIL.

So the FIRST step in setting up a Static IP address is to find out what range the DHCP server is set up for, and choosing a number that will NOT conflict with that range.

Log into your router and look for a page that tells what the DHCP Server configuration is. This is usually found under “Advanced Configuration” and then “LAN” (or similar wording).

Once you’ve found the DHCP Server page there should be one of two different ways of displaying the RANGE of addresses in the server.

The first is the simplest. It gives the “Starting Address” and the “Ending Address” (or “Low” and “High”)

Thus for example if you see:

Starting Address 192.168.0.100
Ending Address  192.168.0.150

The “Range” of the DHCP server is FROM 192.168.0.100 TO 192.168.0.150

The second way the DHCP Server range can be displayed is to give the “Starting Address” and the “Number of Clients” (or “Number of Addresses”)

Thus for example if you see:

Starting Address       192.168.0.10
Number of Clients:  50

The “Range” of the DHCP server is FROM 192.168.0.10 TO 192.168.0.60 (50 addresses, starting at 10)

You must choose a number from 2 through 254 which does NOT fall within the DHCP server range, and which does NOT duplicate the address already being used by the router (the IP address you type to log into the router)..

So in the first example you would be safe choosing a Static IP Address for your computer of 192.168.0.151

And in the second example you could safely choose 192.168.0.61, because these numbers are OUTSIDE of the DHCP Server range.

NOTE-  This is important!

The "Range" of the DHCP server is INCLUSIVE.

That means when we say (just for example, your router will probably be different) :

Start address 192.168.0.100
End   address 192.168.0.150

It means you CAN'T USE .100 OR .150 OR ANY of the numbers between them.

In most cases, all you’ll need to do is check the “range” of the DHCP server and pick a safe IP address outside that range for your computer.

BUT- there IS one situation which will require you to make a change to the ROUTER setup BEFORE you can go on.

If you discover the DHCP server is set to use ALL possible IP addresses, then that leaves NO safe addresses for YOU to use.

Starting Address 192.168.0.2
Ending Address 192.168.0.254 <-- This leaves NO addresses free for YOU to use.

If the DHCP server is set to use the entire range, from .2 through .254 then you will have to CHANGE the higher figure to something lower in order to free up some addresses that will be safe for YOU to use.

On the DHCP server page, CHANGE the “Ending Address” from .254 to something like .200

Starting Address 192.168.0.2
Ending Address 192.168.0.200 <-- This leaves 54 addresses free for YOU to choose.

That will make the “range” of the DHCP server from .2 through 200 then you can choose any address higher than .200, in this example, 192.168.0.205

Click the “Apply” or “OK” button, then if necessary, REBOOT the router to make the change take effect.

NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT!! We are picking the LAST set of digits in the IP address ONLY..!

The FIRST THREE sets of digits MUST be the SAME as the ones the router and the DHCP server uses.

Thus, if YOUR router uses 192.168.2.1, then you MUST pick a Static IP address that begins with 192.168.2

If YOUR router uses 10.0.0.1, then you MUST pick a Static IP address that begins with 10.0.0

Again- we’re ONLY changing the LAST set of digits.

Now that you’ve decided on a compatible Static IP address to use for your computer, follow this link for a guide to setting up the IP address on your computer-

However- SKIP the first few steps that tell you to look in IPCONFIG for the IP address, and just use the compatible IP address you've chosen with this guide.

Skip ahead to the step (#5 in the Windows XP guide) that tells you to open the Control Panel and follow the instructions from there.

http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm

Once you've finished this procedure, the address you decided on, and configured in Windows TCP/IP Network Properties will be your "Static IP Address".

Whenever anything asks for your computer's Static IP Address, this number is what it's asking for.

NOTE- If your Internet connection stops working when you change Windows to a Static IP address, the reason usually is that you need to find out what your "DNS Server" addresses are.

If you have this problem, read THIS guide for help on that:
Solution 2: (In case solution 1 did not work, this solution contains common steps that can be used by everyone)
Hello and welcome to our port forwarding guide.

1) General overview
What is port forwarding and why do you need it?
Port forwarding (sometimes referred to as tunneling or virtual servers) is the act of forwarding a network port from one network node to another. Port forwarding allows remote computers (e.g. public machines on the Internet) to connect to a specific computer within a private LAN. So in order to host a game online, you must allow public computers on the internet to connect to your computer. If you don't port forward, all incoming connections to your PC will be refused and thus no one will be able to join your game.

2) Requirements
Open cmd.exe (Start > All programs > Accessories > Command Prompt)
Type ipconfig, notice the Default Gateway.

NOTE: Enter Warcraft > Options > Game Play
Check your Game Port, it should be 6112.

3) Configuration

Open your web browser, type the IP you just saw, for example, in my case I have to type http://192.168.1.254

You should see a box prompting you for your username and password. Enter your password now. By default your username and password are admin.
You can find your router's username and password in your router's manual.
Click the Log in button to log in to your router.

ok, Now you must search for "Port Forward", "Virtual Server" or "Game & Application Sharing". They are usually located in the advanced settings of your router.
Some routers have Warcraft 3 in their database, so all you have to do is add the Warcraft 3 to the Applied Rules. If you don't have the game, create a new application with the following settings
Protocol: Any
Port Range: 6112 - 6119
Translate To: 6112 - 6119
Or if you don't have "Any" as a protocol type.
Protocol: TCP
Port Range: 6112 - 6119
Translate To: 6112 - 6119

Protocol: UDP
Port Range: 6112 - 6119
Translate To: 6112 - 6119
4) Get information about your router
Visit http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
Search for your router's exact model.
Search for Warcraft 3
Follow the instructions that are specifically made for your router in order to port forward.

If you get "Invalid Password" and you are sure about your password. And tried it couple of times. Then the problem is the activation. Activate the account you use for the bot here: Activation. If you still have problems with the password try to do this. Lets start from beginning
Unzip the ghost++__X.zip
Find the file ghost.cfg
Right click > Open With > Notepad/Wordpad
Edit the values there correctly
Remove the # near the pvpgn custom values.
save the files
run ghost.exe

Note:You cannot use your account name as your password, otherwise it will not work. If you are facing this, visit this and change your password.

Or you may try this:
Let's say your username is Bob and your password is Huge. You must do the following.

Name: Bob
Password: Huge
In the ghost.cfg you have to write your password without the capitals.(so it will be like this: huge)
I had the same problem with ghost,so I posted this,cause I haven't found anywhere this 'guide'.

Hi guys, after few weeks of trying to solve problem of joining your own game, or game created by other machine in Local Area Network (LAN), i finally managed to get it to work.

PLEASE NOTE: This solution maybe won`t work for you! This settings is usually for ADSL users!

If you have problem to join your own game, try perito`s tutorial here with loopback first (usually this will work). If you tried that, and you still cannot join game created in LAN, then probably you are behind a router or a gateway that doesn`t support NAT Loopback. The solution for this problem is in general:

1.Turn your router/gateway in Pure Bridge mode
2. Enable PPPoE connection on all of your computers (You will need the username and password from your ISP)
3. Fix your firewall rules
4. Try to host public game, if everyone (from the internet) can join, then try to join your other machines on LAN

This works for most of routers that doesn`t support NAT Loopback, but the settings about pure bridge mode, may be different, based on your router and it`s own firmware.

Hello All www.Eurobattle.net Players.
I want to tribute eurobattle.net and ofc BIG thanks to our Admin`s/Stuff and Support staff on forum http://codelain.com ( Ghost++ Home).

most people Use GhostOne this day`s easy to use and almost all have this two problems after updater www.Eurobattle.net on V1.23.
i was reading 2 forums up and down and you have answers ther but in pieces in different places, i want post solution i hope for some people in this post.
(so you know after i got my problems solved I have helped another 8 player that were having the same thing )

* make sure you have the last version of GhostOne Click Here

1. Load Map Problem.
I will take Dota6.59d map.
even if you download or you make your own .cfg in GhostOne he must be ok from moment you creat it or downloaded but some time you have small change that look like your map is load(in Ghost) but if you check the LOG you see this problem.
the problem in fifth line from top small error in map name in .cfg file.
if you look in side your Warcraft III\Map\Download dir you will see the right file name is Dota Allstars V6.59d.w3x.

What you need to do is simple you need to go to your GhostOne dir my is in drive D:\ so it will look like this and where i need to go d:\Warcraft III\ghost11\mapcfgs\ where is my dota6.59d.cfg file is and double click it open it with Wordpad or any other program, change the last line in dota6.59d.cfg file that will look like this like the orignal file name.

GHostOne is a hosting tool for any Warcraft III map, based on GHost++ (command line version, without interface).

First of all, you need to be able to host, to host with GHost. If you are unable to host normally (without bot) you WON'T be able to host with GHost! So first make sure you first set up your hosting properly by taking a look on our guides/forums.

1. Download GHostOne here ("with source" is for programmers only).

2. Unpack/install it on any folder.

3. Run GhostOne.exe on the folder you installed GHost.

4. (Loopback) If you are using a router (like most of users), you may need to add a "Loopback adapter" in order to join your own games (first try without changing anything). Click here for more info while doing it (second post). Once you set up the Loopback adapter, rename the loopback connection on Start > Network Connections to simply "Loopback". That will allow GHost to detect your new IP every time it changes and update your loopback configurations automatically.

5. Go into GHost Options > Main Configuration tab. The fields which should be filled are marked on the image below and are self-explicative on the program itself. Click Apply Changes once you are done.

Some notes:
- The user and password fields are your bot's account, not yours. You should create a different account for your bot to log in with. Your actual server account goes into "root admin" field.

- bnet_custom_passwordhashtype = pvpgn (be careful about extra blank spaces here)

- bnet_custom_exeversion and bnet_custom_exeversionhash must be left blank. In case that gives you a wrong game version error, you could try to put these values, as well:
bnet_custom_war3version = 26
bnet_custom_exeversion = 1 0 26 1
bnet_custom_exeversionhash = 194 206 231 242
bnet_custom_passwordhashtype = pvpgn

for 1.26a
6. Hit Auto-Configure on the bottom. GHost should detect automatically your Warcraft III path and ports (those should be portforwarded). In case it doesn't correctly, those settings may be manually set on Ghost Options, Page 5 and 6.

7. You are done!
Finally, go to the first program's tab, GHost, and press Run GHost. It should now connect to Eurobattle.net and watch for commands from the root admin.

Some basic commands:
On chat:
!channel <channel></channel> - changes the current bot's channel
!map <map or="" partial="" name=""></map> - loads a map to be hosted from your set Warcraft III downloaded maps folder. E.g. !map 6.66b
!priv <gn></gn> - hosts a new private game with the previously loaded map
!pub <gn></gn> - hosts a new public game with the previously loaded map
!say <word></word> - orders your bot to say something on the chat. Can be used combined with server commands. E.g. !say /f add SugiPula
!addadmin <name></name> - adds a new bot admin (only accessible by root admin)
!deladmin <name></name> - removes a bot admin (only accessible by root admin)

On game room:
!pub <gn></gn> - rehosts the game with gn. Can be typed without a parameter to add #+1 to current gn.
!priv <gn></gn> - rehosts the game as private
!ping or !p - pings all the players
!from or !f - detects every player's location
!unhost - unhosts the game
!start - starts the game
To check out some cool Ghost++ Accessories, look here.
To download the newest Maps for ghost++ check this

1) General overview
What is GHost++? It's autohosting bot designed for hosting different warcraft maps. It's main feature is great delay and lag reduction - when hosted on good Internet connection it provides almost perfect gaming conditions - there is no lag and delay is imperceptible, like if every player in the game would be the host. GHost has also many additional features like country/ping check ( you don't need banlist anymore for that ! ), hosting game with observer slot, swapping players in game lobby ( no need to rejoin the game when you want to change team anymore ), kicking player from the game ( yes, you can kick feeder/flamer/noob without using any 3rd party software ! ) and many more. Don't wait, download it now and enjoy new quality of gaming !

Ghost++ is an improved version of ghost, which works on linux and allow hosting different maps, other than the standard dota map. Ghost++ is available in English and Brazilian Portuguese.

Attention : In order to host games with GHost you need to have 'normal' hosting. If you're not able to host normally you WON'T be able to host via bot!

2) Configuration
Ghost is very small and easy to install, console application that must just run on your computer. After you download, unzip it.
Enter ghost folder, find a file called ghost.cfg, right click on it > Open With > Wordpad.
You will see alot of things written there, don't worry, its pretty easy to configure the file.
Don't modify anything except the things I post here (unless you know what you're doing)
Search for the following values and modify them respectively.
bot_war3path = Link to your warcraft game
bot_hostport = The port you use to host the game
bot_commandtrigger = Trigger you want to use
bot_mappath = Link to your warcraft Maps folder
bot_patch23ornewer = 1 to acknowledge the new patch
bnet_server = server.eurobattle.net
bnet_username = username of your bot, NOT YOUR username, ghost must have a different username than you do, create a new one here
bnet_password = Password of your bot account
bnet_firstchannel = first channel the bot should enter
bnet_rootadmin = Your Username

THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE COPIED EXACTLY OR THE BOT WONT WORK

bnet_custom_war3version = 26
bnet_custom_exeversion =
bnet_custom_exeversionhash =
bnet_custom_passwordhashtype = pvpgn

OR for 1.24 E

bnet_custom_war3version = 26
bnet_custom_exeversion = 1 0 26 1
bnet_custom_exeversionhash = 194 206 231 242
bnet_custom_passwordhashtype = pvpgn
So an example of a ghost.cfg would be like this

BOT CONFIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) Keep the CD keys as they are (FFFFFF..) dont put ur CD keys unless you are hosting on blizzard servers.
2) bnet_war3path and bot_mappath should end with '\' (C:\Warcraft III is wrong while C:\Warcraft III\ is correct)
3) All values starting with admingame must be kept as they are, as they are not ment for PVPGN Servers

Now run ghost.exe, you should get something like this

3) Playing using Ghost++
After your ghost logged in correctly, start warcraft and enter to the channel where your ghost is.
You can make your ghost come to you by whisper it
/w perito_bot !say /join W3-Bots
1) load the map you want to play
!map dota6.59d
2) start a public game
!pub AP/EU/PROS ONLY
3) Join the game you just created and swap your self to the blue position using !swap command.
4) Read the readme.txt file or the following list of commands to use the other brilliant features of ghost++ such as autohosting, getting statistics about your games, banning, announcing, and many other features!

4) Commands list

Runing Ghost++ on Linux
1) Open the Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)

2) Get Libraries for Ghost
sudo apt-get install libgmp3-dev build-essential zlibc
sudo apt-get install zlib1g-dev libbz2-dev

3) unzip ghost
4) open it in the terminal
5) $ cd ghost/bncsutil/src/bncsutil && make
$ cd ../../../StormLib && make
$ cd ../ghost && make
6) move the libraries to /usr/lib
7) use ./ghost++

[Tutorial] How to make your own dota ladder?

Are you an owner of ghost++ or ghostOne? Would you like to make your own dota ladder to be displayed on your own site? This is the right tutorial for you.

MAIN STEP BY STEP
FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL EXACTLY AS IT SAYS OR YOU MIGHT ENCOUNTER ERRORS!

Difficulty: Medium
Time: ~1 hour, depends on you

If you don't yet own a ghost, go and either download ghost++ or ghostOne (recommended). You can get either of them here: http://forum.codelain.com/

Tutorials about setting up ghost and other related things can be found here: http://eurobattle.net/showthread.php?t=79455

I suggest getting GhostOne, because you will need it later to transform your old database to mysql. If you're on linux, you'll have to use ghost++ and external tools for transformation.

STEP 1.1 In order to host your site, you will need to setup a server on your PC. If you already own one (needs PHP+MySQL) skip this step.

If you don't own a server already, go download and install WAMP server: http://www.wampserver.com/en/download.php

Running linux? Get LAMP server instead.

STEP 1.2 Run WAMP server. LEFT click on the tray icon, select Start all services. Open the menu again and click Put Online. When the server is online you will see a white tray icon with the indicator to full. Now go in your modem/router configuration and open port 80 (port forward). After you open the port 80, you can now reach your server by putting your IP in browser's adress bar. You can find out your IP here: http://www.whatismyip.com/. Make sure you also open port 80 on your firewall, if you don't do that, firewall will block all the trafic and nobody will be able to acces your website.

Now left click on tray icon of WAMP server and run phpmyadmin.

In the "create new database" field, type a random name for your database, ex: dotaladder, and create the database. Make sure you remember this name because you will need it later on.

Now select the newly created database (if it's not already selected-on the menu on the left), click on Privileges tab and click on Add new user. Input your new Username, set Hostname=localhost (if you own an external server put your IP here) and Password. In the Global Privileges click on Check all to check all the boxes and hit Go button. Creating a new user is optional, you can also use pre-existing root account, but it has no password and might be vulnerable to hackers. It is recommended to set a new password for root account as soon as possible.

STEP 1.3 Now select your database again (if it's not selected already) and hit the Import tab. Open your Ghost folder and search for:

for GhostOne: mysql_create_tables_v2.3one.sql
for Ghost++: mysql_create_tables_v2.sql
File names are outdated, make sure you select the latest version that you find in your ghost folder.

Hit the Go button to import the tables.

STEP 1.4

Download and install TortoiseSVN
http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads

Restart your PC.

STEP 1.5 Now run WAMP server again, left click on tray and open www directory. Create new folder in www directory and call it whatever you want ex: allstats. Now run explorer (Go: Run>explorer) and in the map treeview search for c:\wamp\www\yourfolder folder. Right click on your folder and select SVN checkout.

In the URL of repository, copy this link: http://allstats.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

The checkout repository must be your custom folder you made back then. Hit the Ok button to start downloading Dota Allstats source files.

This is the main part of the tutorial. To find out more about the Allstats source, visit http://code.google.com/p/allstats/

Wait for the files to download.

STEP 1.6 Open file config.php (it downloaded in your folder) to configure your settings. I recommend using some site editor program but notepad should do the work too. Just be carefull not to save the file as .txt and make sure you choose utf8 coding.

The following lines are necessary to be edited:
$host = 'localhost';
$username = 'TheUsernameYouCreatedInTheDatabase';
$password = 'TheUsernamePassword';
$databasename = 'TheNameOfYourDatabaseYouCreated';
$botName = 'YourBotName';
$rootAdmin = 'Bot'sRootAdmin';
Other lines are optional.

STEP 1.7

Now open PhPMyadmin and select your GHost database on the left. Select the import tab. Click choose file and select the MySQLSetup.sql file (located in your allstats folder). Click Import.

STEP 1.8

You're almost done! You can now reach your dota ladder page by putting your IP in the browser's address bar. ex: yourIP/nameofyourfolder/
You will notice that your ladder is currently empty. In order to import all the data from your old database (if you were using sqlite so far), open GhostOne->Database->Open database (wamp server must be running! after opening the "Import from sqlite" button should appear)->Import from sqlite->Check all boxes and Import. You're done!

When importing from old database it could happen that no dota games are imported. This is because you probably weren't using the correct map cfg-s. For dota games to be saved in database, you need to open up your dota cfg, search for line map_type and set it to: map_type=dota

OPTIONAL-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

STEP 2.1 - Hiding your IP from public

If you want to share the ladder with your friends or with public, it's recommended to hide your IP from them and all other people.

Go on: http://www.no-ip.com/

Select NO-IP Free, fill up your e-mail and sign up. Fill all the textboxes with your info and create new account. After receiving activation e-mail follow the activation link to activate your account.

After that, login and click on Host/Redirects tab. Select Add host, choose your domain name (it will include no-ip.org on the end but it's free!), choose DNS Host (A) option, enter your IP address and create the host. If you have dynamic IP you should also download and install their client which must be run everytime you reconnect to your internet. Their client will assign the correct IP to the domain, because dynamic IP changes on every reconnect.

And now you're done! You can check your domain name under Manage hosts link. Simply enter the adress in your adress bar like this: yourdomainname.no-ip.org/nameofyourfolder/ and that's it!

IMPORTANT INFO!
-your ghost won't be able to start if mysql service isn't working. WAMP server must be running (offline or online, doesn't matter) or bot won't be able to connect. But, if you want your ladder site to be visible to the public, your server must be Online.
-if you want to start WAMP server on system startup, go Run->type in "shell:startup" and make a shortcut to wamp in the folder which opens (right click on wamp shortcut, hold it and release in Startup folder->create shortcut). You can do this for any other program.
-after you succesfully setup allstats, you can uninstall Tortoise SVN, as you probably won't need it for the rest of your life if you're an average user. It'll only take your resources on startup etc. That tool is only needed to download the allstats source files.

If you encounter any errors feel free to post or PM me. (cen)
